About Longtom Farm Guesthouse
Longtom Farm Guesthouse is situated in the picturesque Mpumalanga in eastern South Africa (three hours drive from Johannesburg). Ideally situated between popular attractions like Dullstroom, Sabie, Graskop, Pilgrim's Rest, God's Window and the Kruger National Park, it is the perfect getaway.
Experience the peace and tranquility of a farm at Longtom Farm Guesthouse, which is situated just outside Lydenburg (3km from hospital). The farm is bordered by two rivers, Sterkspruit and Swartspruit and is ideal for the birdwatcher and the nature lover. The world famous Lydenburg heads were found in 1953 by Ludwig von Bezing only 1km from our Guesthouse.
The guesthouse consists of nine beautifully decorated and spacious en-suite bedrooms, located in eight separate units, each with DSTV and six with own kitchenette, and family unit with huge kitchen. Each suite has its own entrance and verandah overlooking the magnificent garden.
A number of relaxation areas in and around the garden, including a swimming pool overlooking the Longtom pass, add to the tranquility of the guesthouse.
Breakfast is served in the sunny breakfast room, tastefully furnished with select antique pieces, and we can recommend a variety of restaurants for dinner. A spacious romantic honeymoon suite is also available.
We also provide covered parking for eight vehicles and two lock-up garages.

Longtom Farm Guesthouse is geleë in die pragtige Mpumalange in die ooste van Suid Afrika (drie ure se ry vanaf Johannesburg). Ideaal geleë tussen populêre besienswaardighede naamlik Dullstroom, Sabie, Graskop, Pelgrims Rest, God's Window en die Kruger Nasionale Park, vir die perfekte wegbreek.
Beleef die rustigheid en vrede van ‘n plaas by Longtom Farm Guesthouse, net buite Lydenburg (3km vanaf die hospitaal). Die plaas word begrens deur twee riviere, Sterkspruit en Swartspruit, ideaal vir die voëlkykers en die natuurliefhebber. Die wêreldberoemde Lydenburgkoppe is in 1953 deur Ludwig von Bezing slegs 1km vanaf ons Gastehuis gevind.
Die gastehuis bestaan uit nege pragtige ruim kamers, geplaas in agt aparte eenhede elk met eie badkamer, DSTV en ses met eie kombuisie, familie-eenheid met groot toegeruste kombuis. Elke eenheid het sy eie ingang en stoep wat uitloop op die pragtige tuin.
Die tuin bestaan uit ‘n hele paar ontspannings-areas met ondermeer ‘n swembad wat uitkyk op die bekende Longtompas.
Ontbyt word bedien in die sonnige ontbytkamer, omring deur die besondere antieke stukke, en ons kan restaurante aanbeveel vir aandetes. ‘n Romantiese, ruim wittebrood suite is ook beskikbaar.
Ons voorsien onderdak parkering vir agt voertuie, asook twee toesluit motorhuise.
